I did OK today. Didn't work out at all. *sighs* According to EFS day 2, I should have done 75 mins (I'm a type B) of exercise. I guess I will work harder tomorrow. Perhaps spend 30 minutes extra and then try to do Pilates afterwards if I got time.

I also didn't follow the EFS meals - but I ate less. Let's see, I had 1 whole egg, 1 yogurt and small coffee for breakfast. I got too busy with two guests over and only ate a lot of wheat thin crackers along with spinach dip.

Since my boyfriend was fixing and painting our bathroom with new color (blue - my fav color!), he asked me to get him a sandwich from Subway so I did. I got myself 6" inch sandwich with honey oat, turkey & ham, lettuces, onions, and tomatoes and lite mayo for dinner. Oh, I also had a small caramel macchiato from starbucks with double expresso & 1% milk (I was very tired in the afternoon so I had to get some coffee to boost my energy).

SO, I think my meals aren't bad as long as I had smaller portions (OK, I went overboard a bit on wheat thin crackers & spinach dip!)

Weighed in this morning and I only lost 1 pound. Not bad because I had thought that I wouldn't lose a pound but I did! I felt that I didn't do well the past week but I'm happy that I'm on the track. I'm just disappointed that I wouldn't reach my goal by my 30th birthday next Saturday but at least I have time to continue losing weight in time for the wedding on July 14th. I'd like to weigh at least 125-130 lbs. I hope I can do it!

Today, I will start the first day for Cycle 3 so I am going to do that one better than cycle 2!

Friday, June 8th (Day 7 of cycle 2)

Breakfast: 1 yogurt, orange juice, & coffee
M#2: Corn Salad with Balsamic Vinegar & Olive oil
Work-out Ellipitcal for 30 minutes & Jog for 30 minutes
M#3: Chicken with Mango Salsa leftovers
M#4: 1 boiled egg, broccoli, and small black beans
Snack: Whole wheat crackers with hummus (after swimming)

I had like 5 butterfinger cookies that a friend made and left at the meeting @ my house two nights ago. Ahh. Temptations!!!!! That's why I went back to the gym and swam for another hour late in the evening. I felt better awards!

Went overboard on dinner last night. It's okay - I will think positive and just start anew today. In fact, I'm back to square 1 with meals - eating very, very simple meals. But my workout was great yesterday - I swam more than 1 mile within a hour so I'm happy about that.

Thursday, June 7 (EFS Day 6 of cycle 2)

8:45 (Breakfast):
1/2 cup of wheat cream with bananas & OJ
11:30 (Snack): 2 plums
1:00 (Snack): 1 Egg boiled egg
3:30-4:30: Swam more than 1 mile
5:00 (M#2) - Leftover chicken with leftover mango salsa
7:00 (M#3): Lots! I had a group over for a meeting from 6:30 to 10:00 p.m. Everyone bought delicious foods, so I had salad, salmon quiche, spinach & artichoke dip with WW crackers, & 1 small piece of BBQ pork (i didn't eat it all), and few pieces of butterfinger cookies. I felt more than full, which I haven't felt for a while. It was not a good feeling. Just a nasty feeling. Today, I'm going to detox a bit!

However, I'm proud that I didn't go for white bread last night. I just had like one small piece to eat it with spinach dip. I mostly had whole wheat crackers with the dips.

That's my problem - each time I see great foods - I just dig in. I need to learn how to resist my temptations each time I'm around fatty foods. That's why I don't have any unhealthy foods in my kitchen!
