I was just diagnosed last month with diabetes and have a question. I read that one should keep your daily sugar grams below 25. Does that include all foods (fresh vegetables and fresh fruits) that have naturally occurring sugar? Or does that include only "added sugars"? I am truly confused. Any help with this would be appreciated.

As far as I know it's only refined sugars. I'd check with your doc and dietician to make sure.
