Hey, Everybody. Thanks for joining my group. Here is where you can introduce yourself and tell us a little bit (or a lot) about yourself.

Let's start!

Okay!

My real name is Dennis, I live in southern California. I am Asian and majoring in Psychology/Sociology.

Its nice to meet all of you!

Also, Add me and your fellow members as a friend so that we can all individually support each other. We are now friends bonded by a common cause!

Hello, Dennis! I wanna start off by saying I was super excited to find an otaku group, so I appreciate you making it.

My name is Jessica, and I live in West Virginia. I'm still nothing but a high school student. When I get older I either want to be a psychologist, dietician, or a veterinarian. I would really enjoy being a manga artist, but I don't think Americans can do that kind of thing, which really sucks.

My favorite thing to do is draw anime. That's literally all I do when I'm in school. That or play Pokemon. XD Hahaha, but my grades are okay. We have an art class but they said my drawing style was not what they were looking for... I still don't understand that. Oh well.
I also like to play bass guitar. Not in a band or anything, it's just for personal happiness.

Let's see... don't think there's anything else notable about me.

Anyway, it's great to be in this group! I hope we all become friends and help each other to reach our goals while having fun. That's what life's all about, right? ^___^

Hey guys,
I am in central Michigan. I too was happy to see the group on the message boards. I think I am a bit older than you guys but anime keeps me youthful lol. I will be 35 this summer and I work in the IT industry. Nothing fancy Smile. Anime, manga, artsy crafty stuff, my husband and my dogs pretty much comprise my life... My goal is to loose weight, about 75 lbs to go give or take, and get into shape. I don't just want to be skinny, I want to be healthy.

I am really lucky in that my hubby is a power lifter geek so we have our own gym out in the barn and he helps me a lot with weight training exercises etc. My geekdom lies more on the nutrition side. I love to cook and am a fairly new vegetarian so am really having fun experimenting with new dishes.

That is pretty much me in a nut shell... Smile

Hey

My name is Tang & I'm from Southern California. I'm a student with a maor in bio, minor in Art History (very random combo, I know). I wish I had the ability to draw but I've never gotten past stick figures.

Nice to meet you guys Smile

I'm 32 so I guess I'm old like Shugotenshi Smile I'm kind of an old school fan. Haven't watched as much in the last 10 years but occasionally I'll watch some anime that I find on Hulu or Netflix.

I work as a Java programmer and do Flash animation and videography on the side.

Hey Meganekko, my animation teacher in college did manga. I never read it because it was really sappy shoujo stuff but the art was amazing. I think she won some awards in Korea for her stuff. Just goes to show it doesn't really matter where you're from.

'Ello all! I'm Caitlin and I'm still in high school, but this is my last year!! I live in Louisiana, but I was born in Las Vegas, Nevada, and I've been into anime ever since I could remember. I plan on being a Nurse Anesthetist when I'm done with the training and all that.

I go to two anime conventions yearly, Mechacon and Louisianime, and I love to make AMVs. I even sent in a few to Mechacon for an amv contest and it won second place! This year I was Alphonse from the movie and my little sister was a handicapped Envy since she's in a wheelchair. I love to draw and I plan on making manga and writing stories on the side. I'm even president of my school's anime club and hopefully it won't die when I graduate.

I'm going to take a class this year so that I can use flash and I can't wait for that class! I love anime so much that I named my cats and dog after anime characters, except for one. My mom named her. One is called Ren, and I later found out that a character from Jigoku Shojouf has that same name, and he's my favorite character too! Another one's name is Train as in Train Heartnet from Black Cat, but she's a female cat. And my newest cat is name is Neko-chan. My one and only dog's name is Dante, and my mom didn't relize it when she named him that Dante was from Devil May Cry.

Well, I hope that we can all be friends here and loose some weight!!

Hey Caitlin! I have a dog I named after an anime character... actually my hubby named him. He can hear all my anime while he is on the computer and picks up on certain things even though he doesn't watch it himself. We named him Ruto after Naruto. Smile The cool thing is that he is sort of burnt umber and black. He will probably go more brown as he gets older (he is only 5 1/2 months old) but it just makes me laugh when I think about his name-sake.

I get to go Anime Detroit this weekend. I am excited, though it is just a smallish one compared to some of the big ones on the west coast.

Do you post your AMV's to animemusicvideos.org? If so what is the title? I would love to see it. I love AMV's. I keep thinking I need to try to do something like that but I just don't have the attention span for it Smile.

That one's the one that got second place! ^^
I would have put it up on youtube, but that site hates me apparently..

Hello everyone! Call me Sol. I'm 23 and have been overweight for most of my life. But this is my year of change! And I'm so glad I found an otaku group to help me along the way!

Most of my weight loss is for myself but I also want to cosplay one day. And I can't do that without feel super self conscious because of my weight. By Otakon 2013 I want to be slender enough to wear a Black Rose outfit. (.//hack)

A bit more silly of me, is that the guy I've been crushing on for years now, won't look my way because I'm not his typical thin pretty girl he likes so much. Worse still? He's my best friend. T_T I'm used too being a wall flower and no one looking my way. So.. with Kyoko (Skip Beat) as my muse I will turn into someone amazing!

Hi everyone! Sorry that I never introduced myself earlier. My name is Erin and I'm still in high school in South Jersey.

I'm so glad to meet everyone and to find such a nice group. I'm more of a manga freak, though. Honestly most of my time is spent reading manga. One of my favorites is Skip Beat so, Sol you go girl! Just stay positive and persevere. There is always a time for you to change and better yourself, which is right now! Don't ever give up hope in a dream worth fighting for.

I've always been on the chubby side so I'm hopping to drop more weight by eating better. I've always been an athlete so I used to think that because i work out it was okay to just eat whatever. Turns out I was completely wrong.

I'm excited to be friends with you all and lets work hard together. Also, if anyone needs any inspiring words of advice just ask cause I've always been a motivational speaker for my friends and classmates.

Hey everybody!

My name is Lily and I'm a senior in high school this year. I'm super excited that I found such a cool group. A friend introduced me to the J-pop culture about 2 years ago, so I'm still pretty new to it. I love reading manga and I like listening to J-pop music. I just started reading Bleach, so I'm trying to catch up on that. I also love drawing manga style.(Every one seems to be saying what they do/want to do so I will too.)I want study photojournalism or graphic design in college.

I've been overweight for a long time, and I want to lose some weight before I start cosplaying. My goal is to lose at least 30 lb. before April 2015. There's a con that I'm going to.
