Help! Emotional eating, PMS, and Covid are killing my weight loss. Anyone else having the same issues? I am almost 2 years out and I have gained about 10 lbs during covid and my weight goes up at least 10 lbs during PMS so sometime I freak out when I step on the scale. Can anyone else relate? What do you do?

The pandemic has definitely had an impact to my weight loss goals. It's been a year since my surgery and to see that weight creep back up is so very defeating so yes, I feel you on seeing the extra 10 lbs. It's never too late to correct course, don't take drastic measures like eating when you first had surgery but simply taking the time to chew food again, timing meals/snacks, and adding exercise, even simple at-home exercise will greatly improve your mood and can definitely help you get back on track. Set some goals for New Years and I wish the you the best of luck.

I feel you. I've kind of been stuck between 210 and 220 with this pandemic. I had gotten down to 194 before all this hit. I miss going to the gym but don't feel ready to go workout having to wear a mask since I have to wear one all day at work. But like my daughter keeps telling me to dust off the Wii and do some Just Dance and Zumba in the meantime. And I have had to dip into secondary surgery fund to make ends meet. I figured I have a good 10 to 20 pounds of extra skin I need to have removed. But that what happens when you lose 160 lbs. But we have to keep our chin up. Hopefully things will go back to semi-normal soon.
