 How To Follow Lacto-Ovo-Pesce-Vegetarian Diet:

Eat a salad and bread and yogurt with every meal. I personally shake and drink a plain glass of yogurt. This is an excellent way to add dairy and protein to your diet. A salad should not be drowned in dressing, rather use 1 oz of feta cheese and some vinegar for flavor. Bread should be whole grain. And of course, limit your serving sizes to the appropriate amounts.

steady at 121 for the past 10 years. I have never fluctuated much in weight but I'm an athletic body type. Very strong, love outdoors activities. I go to the gym about 5-6 days a week consisting of a mix of cardio and weight lifting.

1.Eat meals on a small plate. This makes it look like you have more food, therefore making you feel like you're eating more.
2.Eat slowly and try to enjoy the food that you're eating. This triggers a response in your brain to feel full faster.
3.Never skip breakfast. It truly is the most important meal of the day. Don't eat kid's cereal. Eat something with more substance, like oatmeal.
4.Snack often and eat healthy snacks. A snack should be about 100-150 calories. Eat one in between each meal, while reducing your meal caloric intake. This keeps the fire burning evenly.
5.Buy a food scale!! Measuring how much a "serving size" actually is makes a huge difference as to what you think you're eating.

I have been eating this diet for the past 7 years with no glitches. Throughout the entire process I have maintained my weight of 120lbs give or take 3 to 5 lbs up and down. My husband and I share this diet together. It takes more creativity to make dinner, however there are always instant options with prepackaged foods.
