 Summary:

This diet is for people who want to gain some muscle mass, increase their energy and metabolism, and also to lose a tone of weight!

Try and get 2 workouts a day. Im doing Mon, Wed, and Fri morning weight training (to get the burn ALL day at work) and evenings weekday and tues & thurs morning cardio. The cardio will help increase metabolism and burn extra calories, of course!

This does require a high calorie diet, none of this 1200 or lower. Youll just burn out, lose energy, and do harm to your body.

it is only tough the first week. If you follow strictly for a week, you get SO much energy you wont want to quit!! If you dont like the gym, or "dont have time" for the gym, i wouldnt recommend this diet.

About / History

Well, im VERY sad and ashamed to write this, but i gained 130 pounds from 18-22, but lost 80 of it in 4 months using this diet (that extra 50 pounds was 'adult' muscle and from working out).

at 26 i gained about 60, then lost the 60 in about 3-4 months using this diet.

Now here i am, 30, and gained that 60 back. This is a very bad habit to get into and it is because i am lazy! however, im back on track this time, going to get down to 210 (plan on putting on some more muscle) and keeping it!


SheHasMySpleen's top tips

1.Eat every 2 hours! throw in a snack between meals. Try to make it at least 150 calories so your body will continue the metabolism increase.
2.Have a cheat day, otherwise youll get sick of dieting... i think ever diet on the planet emphasizes this!
3.The most important part of weight training is the rest period! dont lift weight 2 days in a row, do cardio between.
4.Drink a glass of chocolate milk after every workout. Gives you calcium and replenishes sugar! great for muscles. Maybe throw in a scoop of protein too!
5.Eat your weight in (GOOD) carbs and protein - you will need that extra energy and to replenish muscles.
6.DRINK PLENTY OF WATER!!!
