Exercise Challenge - Wednesday:

10 push ups or Modify push ups
50 times (25 each side) rotations (squeeze each side its
not a race)
30 calf raises (10 toes point in, 10 toes point out, 10 toes point straight..

How many can you do!!!!

Good choices Donna I will do them when I get back in the door, I am about to head out hiking ! so excited I have not hiked with my old friend in 2 yrs and we are going so happy, Buddy is too...

Susan sniffle ugh, clear throat, I have a summer cold like Pam now, what the heck...........but I am going hiking no matter what hair ball I cough up.......

staff mtg and then we are celebrating Lux's 1st birthday tonight....with my side of the family. no cake for me tonight though I have had more than enough lately......

off to hike, then Donna's mini oh yes it is Wed I will also walk up and down my stairs 10 x

Morning all-

No steps for me as I laid in bed for most of it! Feel like a new person today!!!

Denise hope you don't have a cold. I poof it away! Enjoy your hike. I wish I had a place to hike here. I heard Alaska is having 90 degree weather. They have not seen that kind of heat since the 1960's wow. How's your Canadian weather?

ok Donna doing your challenge right now, but not really sure what rotations are. I will google it!

Wonder if Sherry is having fun. I am sure she is!!

morning Sassies!!! This morning I did a pretty brutal leg workout. I was sweating bullets! hahahaha I will try to get some pushups in later after work. My body is getting sore from increasing my weights. Tomorrow is an ab day for me.

Morning sassies,

I started new challenge, I made it for two months. It doesnt have to be that long, but it can be. Sassy Sista Summer sizzler. If u did not get an invitation it is an error and let,s fix it. We want all our sassies. Aquasurf did u get an invite don,t remember if I saw your name. I earned 5 points yesterday and 11.359 steps,52 floors. Took the big girl walk hoot!hoot!

Donna, Thanks for challenge. I will do calf raises. And still have the ab challenge are u doing that. Are anne and I only two left? Cuz I hated those abs yesterday.Hows, your bruise!

Susan, did u fall too? Or have a typo?

Denise, it,s my day off I can go hiking too but it,s suppose to rain.
I want to do this 10-13 mile dry creek hike but I can,t find trailhead it,s like a well kept secret.

I don,t know what to do with myself with a whole unplanned day. I,ll make a list I guess,lol Laurie. Wtf coffee please!!!

Morning Sassies, I added today's challenge to my workout plan that I already had written out along with some other exercises.

Points for yesterday 5 and steps 10,363.

I stand corrected on steps ....

1- Laina with 196,607

2-Denise with 97,025

3-Laurie with 85,886

total miles 2,962,879 = 1,473 miles
way to go sassies...........now get up and walk away.

congrats again to all steppers......

chart is now closed for the past challenge

Keep posting your steps we have started tracking again as of this Monday past....

we will post weekly top 3 and total steps as a group & AIM to beat our group steps each week even if by 10 steps so together we get more and more each week.........a group GOAL !

these will run from Monday to Sunday .

hey Laurie I want to go on that trail with you........I will bring the h20 and Buddy.... off to finish challenge
hike was good her dog had to laid down several times so only 4000 steps we will try again tomorrow but only with my dog as he can go long and fast she has a little pug Julias he is so cute with little legs.....so we will slowly build him up again to our 1-2 hr hikes.... both dogs have gained weight so we need to walk it off them lol and us lol

I did get the abs done last night at the last minute, lol. Ouch. I did start a week late tho...lets see where I am next week!

Hey All

Susan - Glad you are feeling better... Rotations.. Are (with weights if you want) taking both hands to the right side of your body squeeze your ab - slowly, move to the other side - squeeze... Sit on the floor while doing.

Bruises are very pretty now.. LOL.....

Laurie - I stopped the ab challenge and restarted so now I am on day 5 (I think) its at home... so near that - but my goal is to do each day... I will see how far I can get..

Congrats to the top loosers....

Good morning Sassies! Had a great workout last night...& got good news from my therapist...she says problemis NOT the disc but one of the big hip muscles...just hearing that made me feel better.
So far today, got 90 calf raises in & 50 rotations...can't do pushups.

Laurie-got the invite & joined. 2 months works for me.

Susan-glad you're feeling better

Danielle & rest of the runner-ups-congrats

Laina & Susan-congrats

Denise-I love walking with my neighbors & their dogs...one of them always stops by my door to see if I want to come along...they are all little dogs & all rescues.

Hi ladies 26,467 steps,4,257 calories burned,2.83 miles .and for today challenge what does 50 times (25 each side)rotations(squeeze each side it's not a race? What does this me does it have to do with the push up?

Afternoon ladies,

Wow, what an active group! So proud of you all. Keep up the great work.

Susan, I can totally relate to your situation, I have been feeling yucky since Friday and this morning had a slight fever. So ready to close up the office and go home.

Donna, finished one set of each challenge item listed in hopes it will give me the kick start I need to feeling better.

Laurie and Denise would love to meet you both for a hike and bring Cooter along so all the labs can play.

Susan, hope you are feeling better soon!

Laurie, are we continuing to post here until the new challenge officially starts? Not sure of your schedule today but will try to call you later this evening.

Evening Sassies!! Another killer pt session this afternoon...& my massage/accupuncture session got cancelled...Sad So, I'm a little stiff, but it's from working out.
90 more calf raises for a total of 180 (ouch!) but no more rotations.
Scheduled rest day for me tomorrow...just stretching & walks.

Pam-nice to here from you; how's everything?
Heading home soon, so tty tomorrow.

hello

baby 1st bday went well.... it was fun..... Smile hit just over 8ths today I will take it.....called in again for tomorrow , so tm tomorrow night........ hike again on Thursday.

Pam no, chase the fever, I have a small cold, if there is such a thing, I am drinking neocitran now, it is that cold and flu hot lemon drink help you sleep med..... it helps keep it to a minimum, summer cold wth.......

Evening Ladies!

Skipped my run again yesterday and didn't get too many steps in. The old pedo read 529 when I went to bed last night. I'll do better tomorrow. So far today I have 2341 steps but on the brighter side, the scale says I reached my goal weight this morning Smile. I'm not celebrating yet as its only Wedn and the weekend is looming but no worries.
Push ups - done. Calf raises - done. Rotations???
