Delete the dairy!

Dairy products clog your system and are hard to digest. Drink almond or soy milk instead of dairy milk or coconut milk (as this too will make you feel bloated)

Go Good Grains!

Most grains are wheat-based, and gluten free diets are often the way to go. Try quinoa, spelt, or brown rice instead of the regular wheat-based pastas, spaghetti and white rice.

Have a sweet tooth? Chocolate lover?

I'm sorry to say that ALL, yes ALL sweeteners can't be trusted. Even the "so-called-healthy honey and maple syrup." Listen guys, they're nothing but added calories for better taste! If you want something sweet, try an overripe mashed banana with 100% coco powder (it shouldn't contain any form of sugar!) How do you like pumpkin? One of my favorite desserts is mashed banana in some canned pumpkin puree and some additional fruits. YUM!

The truth about corn and potatoes...

Corn's modified levels are no longer healthy, and potatoes aren't the best for your body either. At very least, eat sweet potato, and corn can be replaced with pretty much any of vegetable.

A healthier way to enjoy ice cream...

Ice cream has dairy, therefor it will be hard for your system to digest. And the fat from the cream, as well as crazy amount of sugar, will also slow down your metabolism. HOWEVER, I have discovered a dairy-free, sugar-free alternative from SoDelicious. Their delicious sugar-free flavors include chocolate, vanilla, butter pecan, mint chip, and almond chip. Bread lover?

Try a loaf made from white/brown rice, spelt, or quinoa. These selections will also have less to no sugar, and don't contain wheat. Remember, wheat is the enemy!

Cheeses and butter...

Truth is, butter is actually a good fat and replacing it with margarine is a mistake! Stick to 100%, unsalted butter. Cheese is only healthy if consumed in small amounts. Stick to orange cheese, nothing white.

Careful of dried fruit!

Read the ingredients and scan for sugar! A lot of packaged dried fruit are sweetened, and fruit is sweet enough! To avoid the extra unneeded/unwanted calories, stick to prunes and apricots. Those are usually manufactured 100% natural. But if you're up for a challenge, feel free to scout out for other unsweetened dried fruits. :)

"stick to orange cheese" myth.
I'm one to avoid dairy products altogether, so thank you for the post! Most white foods are more processed though, so other than cheese, should most likely be avoided (besides the raw stuff!)
