Challenge Forum: can't get up to 20 net carbs a day

I've been eating everything on Adkins and I'm not getting the 20 carbs - I'm really watching what I eat but I'm only getting 12 - 14 net carbs a day - I'm eating alot - chicken , fish, eggs, cheese, salads - I'm not even hungry enough to eat anymore - any suggestions?

To one Irish girl from another ..... I have the same problem but I don't know if you have been to Linda's low carb menus here is the link it is really helping me to at least get some ideas.

Try some vegetable like broccoli or cauliflower. There's a few more carbs in them.

I'm exactly the same, when I'm eating right that is, which, btw, isn't going so well atm. Anyway, with me, the carbs start to dwindle down to minuscule amounts as I go on. But I notice my energy levels begin to decrease right along with them. So I make myself add more salad and vegetable to my meals. If I don't do that then any movement feels like I'm carrying around lead weights.
