Eliminate most artificial sweeteners.

Guidelines:
Processed bars, jello, and other diet foods are packed with artificial sweeteners that kill weight loss. If you have to have something sweet add a drop or 2 of stevia (found at health food stores) or just a touch of processed Splenda, Truvia, Stevia, Erythritol. You will be fine!

Eat lots of fat filled calories

Guidelines:
Eat butter, coconut oil, olive oil, whole fat cheese. Make sure you eat around 1500 calories or more. Dr. Atkins felt you should be able to eat over 2000 calories and lose weight.

I stick closer to the 13 as there are bits of carbs in cheese, cream, mayo, and others that don't get added in. Eat salads and low carb veggies.

Guidelines:
If you accomplished any loss, any adaptations to your Atkin's diet, reduced artificial sweeteners then you were super successful with this challenge. Any and all who did feel this was beneficial please keep in touch with caroldiff. Relearning to eat Atkins style and living this lifestyle is difficult. No need to answer but I have enjoyed this challenge with those of you who participated.

Guidelines:
Following Atkins is rather easy yet can be difficult to keep on track. Each of us has foods that trigger weight gain rather than loss and we often try to mix the Atkins diet with calorie/low fat diets. These just don't mix. Have fun with your next challenges.
