I hope that I am determined enough to do this...I tend to give up on things too easily. Have been exercising at least twice a week for the past month and a half. Haven't lost any weight though.Question

That means you need to reduce your calorie intake and probably up your exercise too. This is much easier to do if you eat a lot of protein and vegetables and fewer refined carbs.

The rule of thunmb is that you need to eat 3,500 calories less than you burn to lose 1 pound. So measure exactly what you eat and use FatSecret's exercise entries to estimate you calorie burn and you need to burn 1,000 more than you consume each day to lose 2 pounds a week.

Also pay attention to how your clothes fit. It's possible to lose fat but also gain muscle depending on what kind of exercise you do so the number on the scale is not the whole.
