A place to provide support and encouragement...

Hello all, I am accomplishing my goal for today by exercising (walked 1 mile), recorded my good/bad eating habits and now I need your support and motivation. I am a coffee person and I am having trouble giving up my creamer. I drink 2 16 oz cups of coffee with 250 calories of creamer. Can you say shall I have coffee with my cream? Should be a no brainer, but it is not. Advice please!

Good Morning all, trying to motivate myself this am. Started by checking the scale. Still losing. Posted meals and water for accountability. Good luck on your goals today!

The last two days have been really difficult. I am falling in my will power. I am not doing as well as I want but I am also not doing terrible. I hope you are keeping the faith. ;)

It will get easier! I am now in week 11 of changing my eating habits. I ate for convenience over the weekend (lots of running around) and I found that the foods that I used to crave (queso and chips, french fries, etc) have all been replaced in my life with low fat and or low calories alternatives that are just as tasty. If you are like me, you are trying to change your life, not just lose 10 pounds. I am continually surprised at how many places have an alternative that I can eat and enjoy - I was at Burger King yesterday and even they have a veggie burger that I can eat and not worry about the calories! Keep the faith and you will succeed!

Hi Liz! Start watering down your creamer a little bit at a time with some non-fat milk. I am now at 100% non fat milk and I have actually gone days with no milk. I have used milk or creamer in my coffee for over 20 years and this "weaning off" method worked for me.
