I did it a bit backward. I needed some motivation to get started losing weight again. I joined a softball league which starts on June 28th and I knew at this weight that I'd be more likely to have joint injuries etc. It was a great motivator and I've lost 10.6 since I signed up for softball and want to be down another 28.2 before softball starts. Once I get to that weight objective, I want to drop another 30 or so. I will do it this time.
