i want to cry. it's actually happening. i haven't been in the 230s for over a year and a half and it'll be here very soon....my lowest I've ever reached was 208 but that still feels very far away...for now I'm just excited to be getting so close! my meal prepped meals are lower in calories this week and i started doing two 30 minute cardio sessions a day on top of my weights with my mom twice a week :)
245.3 lb Lost so far: 27.7 lb.    Still to go: 55.3 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

One day at a time because no one said you have to do this in a weeks time. Just stay slow, steady and focused. You will get there even if you slip sometimes just get back up!! Also, it is wonderful that you are doing things with your Mom, she benefits as well. That can help keeping distracted on if you are doing it right or not. Great job!!

I have been using Fatsecret to track my macros and Avatarnutrition to set them with great success. Gaining control over your body is a great feeling. Keep on kicking butt guuurl!!!

I just read an article about the actress Blake Lively taking 14 months to lose 61 lbs - it can be done!!! You just keep working at it and give yourself time - and pat yourself on the back for that meal prepping & cardio work!!! Way to GO!!!

@Taurielfan- So true. I think culturally there is this "lose weight fast" mindset, but the "slow and steady" approach teaches us valuable lessons like delayed gratification and helps us be more present throughout the weight loss and wellness journey!

If it will make you feel better I drop weight like a turtle..now I measure my body and the measurements continue to decrease...sometimes we are sensitive to foods ..meaning they can cause a fluctuation..dont have allergies just food sensitive...my clothes are fitting great but the scale would tell you different..not weighing for a month...my challenge and I glad I'm not;)
