44.1 What shows as today's food diary is actually yesterday's. I'm groggy and didn't notice that I was logging in the wrong day until I was halfway done. Which is okay because I am not going to log my food today. I didn't measure yesterday, so it may not be accurate, but I just wanted to see generally what I ate. I broke my "eat when hungry rule" a couple times yesterday. At lunch I got distracted by a situation involving my landlady and didn't eat as much as I would have liked. So later when a client offered me a cruller I couldn't resist. Then my sister-in-law had her birthday dinner scheduled for 730, which is way later than I normally eat. So I had some cottage cheese at 5 or 530 and went hungry until 8 or 830, at which time only a little black bean soup seemed to satisfy me. I think that's either because I waited too long to eat or because at the restaurant I drank tons of water. Does anyone else find that water confuses your hunger signals (in a bad way)? The reason I think it was bad is because after that I went to bed early with a sort of tiredness that I definitely associate with not having eaten enough food (and slept for a very long time, which I also associate with not having eaten enough food). So I wonder if my body went a little into starvation mode and that is why my weight went back up a little. Or maybe it was the donut. Or the stress of not eating. Or... come to think of it, the day before yesterday was stressful, too, in that I ate my lunch on the highway. :( Or maybe its just normal scale fluctuations. I'll just keep on keeping on. I've certainly lost enough weight this week already to be content. :) if you've read this far into my micro-analyzations, I'm impressed. :)

hi cindylou ...i love your self analyzations....hahaha i thought i was the only one who did this in their head....so its reassuring to know i am not alone! You are right to put things into perspective...and remembering how good a loss you had. I did same this week. When i went to my diet clinic on wed i had lost a lot and so she praised me...then on friday i went and she said...hmmm i wonder why you only lost x amount....and was querying what i sued as seasoning! i said ..look honey..i lost 6 pounds last week....maybe thats good enough for this week....i found it very funny that she was now looking at my seasoning as to why i hadnt lost more....im on a 800 cal diet...and i am eating virginally...so eventually if i stick with it...i will lose..seasoning and all! haha Although i like my diet regime...i think the people there can be a bit ridiculous...so i make my own middle ground. Love the black bean soup btw..you have my mouth watering!! I havent exercised as much this week due to the fact that i have been snowed in multiple times....i just moved back to canada after 9 years in the Caribbean...so its been tough on me...i hate going outside unless its really sunny

hey girls, thanks for reading and commenting! :) mayisa: i'm surprised that my ramblings helped you but very glad! solsista: glad you now know you're not alone in the analyzing! :) i can't believe that lady asked you about your seasonings! the nerve! I have this paper diet journal and in the intro it says you should log in your seasonings as well... never mind that in the back you can see that each seasoning is like, 1/10 of a calorie! how anal retentive can you get? zhanice: thanks, you're a sweetie as usual.
