I don't recommend under 1k. It can cause more problems than good and this is coming from someone who has an Ed lol. The hairloss is real. Eat between 1200 and 1600 candy you can still lose. I dropped 6 sizes just from keeping in that range, being consistent is important.

I do have an ed myself... I've been doing around 1 k for awhile and if I eat 1500 on regular basis I start gaining actual weight, not just food/water. Life sucks. But thank you for watching out for me.

If you're gaining on 1.5k theres a BIG problem with your metabolism, for your sake you NEED to raise your intake. So your metabolism can speed up. Stop weighing daily: Most is food weight- I flux 5-7lbs above my actual weight a lot. Even if I weigh in the mornings, Life does suck but you need to be stronger.

I weigh myself once a month. And I know my metabolism is severely messed up. And trust me, I'm plenty strong. I completed a season of cross country and can run 4 miles without being to out of breath in 34 min 16 sec. I do have days where I eat up to 1500, but am miserable. I don't plan on going below 115 pounds by more than 2 pounds. My mom has threatened my driving license if I do.

Also I'm 5 3.5" and am at a 'healthy' bmi.

one more suggestion: Try not to "invest" in the sizes of clothing, clothing manufacturers have caught on to the fact that people are more apt to buy their cloths if the sizing is smaller. So just pick a range you think you may be, and if you like the way it looks on your shape and it fits properly buy it. look for fit not for size.

It’s not calories for me it’s carb or fat😏

STOP counting the calories work the macros!! f 75%, p 18%, c 7 % @ 1500 for me, and boost the fat when you can. FAT IN FAT OFF!

Okay, okay, okay, okay. I'll up it for today. And I literally don't care if the cals come from fat/carbs/protein. Also, I go by kmarts sizing. Mom bought me a bunch of gluten free/hfcs free food (intolerances) today. Since there's food in the house I'll be up for more.

I'm going to look into macros. Hopefully not something else to cause anxiety

You should care where your calories come from because it makes a huge difference. Focus on eating whole foods. Stay away from prepackaged anything and refined carbohydrates because your body may store those things as fat. Overconsumption of refined carbohydrates are the culprit behind the obesity epidemic. If you up your fat intake and calories and cut carbs you will see results and there's plenty of new research to support that. Cutting calories that drastically is unsustainable/will eventually work against you and you will gain weight

I appreciate everyone's input. I actually get a runner's magazine (runners world) and my coach has repeatedly told me to up my intake. I'll debate with myself on what has been said. Thank you.

Sam right 1000 c. Sounds like starvation mode would start you might even gain weight! Eat the right things and ease it up to 15-1600c. Hit those veggies and protein no pasta

pasta = better running. If I want energy to run it's better to have carbs. If I need muscle repair then it's protein. Healthy fats are fine in moderation.
