Well done on the loss Jocko 👍👍👍 I'm just reading the guide to fasting, which talks a bit more about feast days followed by fast days than the obesity code Soo impressed by your new skill, I used to bake a lot until I damaged my hands on n an accident 7 years ago.. nothing like the smell of home baking filling your home 😋

Today it was scones. Hot from the oven with Jersey Clotted Cream and Strawberry Jam. And no manufacturers wrapper telling me how many calories were in them. In fact, I didn't put any calories in the mix so it must only be what was in the jam and cream!

Excellent Jocko! Imagining the smell and taste now Please add the calorie free scones to the fs database asap I take it that today is a feasting day 😉 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Enjoy 👍

Very good. Love scones, love jam and especially love clotted cream. Just as well you can't get it here!

I hate to tell you Poppy but Scones probably are the quickest vs handling baking ever if you use a food processor. I can get them on the table in 25 minutes from scratch when rubbing the butter into the flour by hand, about 18 if using the Kenwood

I have been finding low carb scones using almond and/or coconut flour. So far I found a pumpkin and a cherry scone recipe to try. I love them with butter.

Thanks Phooka.. But I'd need to get someone else to get out the food processor, set it up, take it apart, clean it, put it back together and put it away I prefer to encourage my daughters to make them by hand.. so it would probably be worth a mention to them to try the food processor 👍👍 ( or we could all travel to Scotland to sample Jocko's scones and shortbread 😉😋

My shortbread is amazing, even if I say so myself. But more addictive than heroin! Once I eat one piece I have to gorge myself. I was told to make my scones by hand. Cold hands and only use the fingers. Don't roll out, pat out. Regarding calorie free, I wish they were. Just flour, butter, golden castor sugar, an egg and Gold Top milk.
