Im still here .. or back.. haven't posted in a while.. Texas got hit by Harvey pretty bad.. Im in Austin and we only had a few days of heavy wind and rain but my uncle and cousin lost everything so we had them here with us. Then Florida.. we hosted one of my middle school bff's and her parents until they could get back to their Texas house yesterday.. And then I had a cancer scare.. turned out to be fibroids (tumors) but the are causing me some female issues none the less.. SO I haven't posted or worked my OWL at all.. it just didn't seem important with everything else going on around me. BUT, Im back.. trying to get back to normal and shake the 4 lbs I put on. Focusing on detoxing... yes, I had ALOT of carbage, resetting my water intake and focusing on getting at least 4 days of cardio in 20-30 min a day. baby steps. Ive done it, I can do it, I will make it happen. Ive come to far to lose it.. Main goal right now is to get back under 180.So with that said, I made deviled eggs, bacon, hummus and cut up veggies for the next few days and stocked up on chicken and veggies.. wish me luck ! Heres my latest pic.. CHEERS

Nice to hear from you, Red! Stress is a diet killer...if not just a plain ole killer! Breathe, meditate, and go with the flow. The flow will carry you along, whether you resist it or not! So let go of the oars, and look at the nice scenery...and the opportunities it shows you. *hugs*

Thanks Mskestrela... Ive been looking into meditation and have been really wanting to get back into my yoga.. I just need to commit. Life has thrown me sooo many curve balls these last few months and I could really benefit from "letting go"

One of my mentors says, "You can't get it wrong, and you'll never get it done." It's a process, not a destination. The reason you can't get it wrong is precisely that you never get it done. When you reach one peak, the journey has shown you new roads, new peaks, and new abilities along the way. All is well!

"Carbage"! Carbs that are really garbage? Love it!

Your accomplishments are very noteworthy. Please step back and look at the total picture. I fear you focused on one small piece. I'm so amazed that you have lost 120 lbs here at Fatsecret with your own effort and the support of your friends and acquaintances here. You certainly are stunning. You're a beautiful young lady. So close to maintenance. Just a few more steps and you'll cover the last few miles. Best regards, Paula Navarette

Welcome back and wow, you really have had a bad time of it. I'm so sorry to hear about your uncle's woes, I can't think of anything more dispiriting but I hope that being with family has been a joy. The fact that you put on only 4lb is achievement in itself so don't beat yourself up. You are here, supported and determined - that's all you need. Good luck (and love the hair colour).
