Ugh, I'm weakening :(

The past few days had been awful, I kept losing and gaining the same few pounds. But honestly, I am losing focus. I cheated. I didn't follow my eating plan. I didn't log my food, thinking "a tiny bite won't hurt". You're right, when I look at other members who had lost 30, 50, even 100 pounds over months and even years, and boy, they're still going and fighting. I don't even have that much to lose and I already feel like giving up. What a shame. I was doing alternate day and 16:8 but I somehow just can't stay focus. I think maybe its not for me? But before I try something else, I think I'm going to give it another shot. Thanks, buddy, I will continue. The only good thing I can say about this past week is that, I never missed a single workout. I'll stay the course, continue with low carbs, alternate day and 16:8. Slow and steady and one meal at a time. Night, take care :-)

I don't know, but I see this often as people come so close to their goal...this is the point where the "diet" separates from the healthy lifestyle. You know now that you can lose unwanted weight and you know how to do it. But this is your future! You cannot think of this as a diet, but rather a choice to live a healthier lifestyle. You can get into the "yo-yo" pattern and believe me it all gets harder as you get older. So, when you reach your goal, keep logging, keep weighing until you find that sweet spot of how to maintain. Once you accept it, learn it and realize that you are not giving anything (healthy anyway) up, you will be building a future of better health, confidence and zest for living! Don't give up and don't be afraid to try something different if what you are doing is not working. Hang in there!!!

Remember weight is just one small piece of the big picture!

@Horseshu, I gained 60 lbs with each of my two pregnancis and went from 135 to 205. I lost some weight along the way, but my weight always yo-yo between 171 and 188 in the past 10 years. The last time I weighted 155 was 16 years ago, when my first boy was 5. My closet is full of clothes from sizes 6 to 12. I just tried on a size 6 last week and it felt great. I don't know why, but I was thinking about not throwing away the sizes that are too big just in case I gain back the weight again. I want to be healthy and take the pain and extra weight off my knees, I know it's gonna take alot to maintain it even after reaching the goal weight. Thank you for your kind words :) I'll stick around, doesn't matter how long it takes!

Good morning, I know you've tried everything, lol. How's OMAD sound? Some said calorie restriction gives you same result as fasting, both losing and maintaining, your thoughts?
