Day 427
Weight 182.6 (up 1.2 lbs)

No surprise. If you eat dinner out (a small steak, salad, cornbread, and baked potato), then drink several beers and snack on a few potato chips, and then go to Denny's at midnight ... weight fluctuates up a bit even if you did dance!!! LOL!!!

We decided to go out last night. Yes ... again!! We had fun, as usual. Good music, good company, and good people watching opportunities. What else could you ask for? Okay, winning the lottery would have been nice!!!

It is nearly 11 am and I am making Irish Oatmeal. It is overcast today, gone is the sunshine of yesterday. No major plans today. I might take a jaunt into town to pick up a few groceries or I may just wait until tomorrow when I'll be in town anyway for work. I will exercise ... and goof off.

Took a little break in the journal to fix oatmeal for mom and I and eggs-in-a-basket (with sourdough bread, bacon, and cheese) for hubby. Michael McDonald serenaded me as I cooked causing spontaneous dancing in the kitchen. Quite a sight I'm certain!!

Always much to be grateful for ... today the highlights are ...

1. always having fun with my hubby ... we do know how to have fun!!!
2. another day off of work before tomorrow arrives ... with no real ambition to do anything productive
3. feeling more confident in my own body ... at least some of the time
4. getting very excited about our upcoming trip
5. breathing in & out everyday, dealing with whatever comes our way, and not 'giving up'

Have a wonderful Sunday ... take care my friends!!

We have to just get used to the "bounce factor." It really doesn't bother me much at all anymore. Since I post it, it may be misunderstood though. I did eat quite well, and had to finish my leftover soup, so I had more of that than I should have. But, as I'm sure you understand, there are no worries. Right now, it's just interesting to how my body will respond to the reasonable numbers I am going to toss it. It's good to hear that you had a good time yesterday and I hope that it continues. Have a great Sunday moose!

I finally made it to your journal, after a long fight with the virus on my computer... yes, dining out will always makes the scale up the next morning. But you and I know that it's not a real gain, and a balanced day erases the gain as fast as it came. I hope you had a nice sunday, and you're ready to be back to business tomorrow... hugs!

LOL! About the book moose. I'm afraid it would be a niche market. :-)
