This is my last weigh-in for a couple of weeks...well, I might weigh-in early Thursday morning before I go to the airport. But when I get back from vacation, I won't weigh-in for at least a week more. Nothing more depressing that owning up to vacation weight gain. Better not to know and just let it drop off again!
151.8 lb Lost so far: 82.2 lb.    Still to go: 9.8 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Diet Calendar Entry for 10 July 2017:
1483 kcal Fat: 65.00g | Prot: 106.27g | Carb: 126.12g.   Breakfast: Bob Evans Home Fries, Private Selection Mixed Fruit, Bob Evans Ham & Cheddar Omelet with Egg Whites. Lunch: Ranch Salad Dressing, Lettuce Salad with Assorted Vegetables, Cabot Extra Sharp White Cheddar Cheese, Applegate Farms Uncured Ham, Green Giant Fresh Baby Cut Carrots. Dinner: Pineapple, Blueberries, Raspberries, Cooked Green String Beans (Fat Added in Cooking), Kroger Wild Caught Sockeye Salmon. Snacks/Other: Tate's Bake Shop Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Cookies, Strawberry-Peach Smoothie, Cabot Extra Sharp White Cheddar Cheese. more...

lol I just finished up my vacay, today is my first day back to reality. Yep, I'm up, but I also don't care, I know I'll lose it again, too. You have a fabulous time on your holiday, and don't fret, like me, you'll lose it if you gain it. ;-)

Nothing wrong with being healthy on vacation either. Eating should not be a chore, but for us addicts it helps to always be aware of our choices and their consequences. Have a great trip, but remember moderation and how far you've come in this battle.

Thanks for the encouragement. I have so many limitations on what I can eat without getting sick that it's not that I'm likely to go crazy... but I will certainly eat more than I usually do, and honestly I'm good with that. It's vacation. And if I can't discipline myself to relax a little on vacation and then bounce right back, then I'll never keep the weight off long term. See you all on the other side of my trip to DC. Please say a prayer for the Cubs to win in Baltimore. Yesterday's game about killed me... down by 10 runs in the first inning? I mean, come on.

Sorry but from MD and still an O's fan. Enjoy your visit to DC and I hope the weather treats you well. Crab has very few calories, depending on whether or not you can eat it. Plus those blue crabs do require expending quite a few calories to get at their delicious meat. Stay well buddy!

That's my plan when I go to Germany next week. I'm not going to worry about calories, but I am going to do my best to limit carbs to veggies only -- no bread, no sweets. Otherwise, I'll eat what I please in moderation, and weigh myself about a week after I get back. Good luck to you, and ENJOY!!!

just be careful what you eat. why should your weight suffer. I'd try to make healthy choices. 😃

I appreciate the cheerleading and good wishes. Jeanieselby -- I do not pound my food! The only way I eat crab is when someone else has done all the work. I just cannot bring myself to pound on a poor crab with a mallet. Just so you all know -- I don't have a choice NOT to make healthy choices because I have to make sure I don't have an IBS flare while traveling. We've made dinner and brunch reservations at places where I know I will have good food that doesn't make me sick, but I'll certainly eat more by quantity than I would on an ordinary week. But honestly... I'm ok with this. I can see that "14" weight off in the near distance, and I'm very excited.
