I LOVED the season finale of The Walking Dead! Daaaaaaaamn! :) LOL.

There is nothing that can cheer you up like a good zombie movie! Once we're faced by the zombie apocalypse, our weight issues just don't seem that significant! Or do they? What if we need to run and won't have a chance to stop and catch our breath? I guess we better prepare, folks! :)

I really want to dig into the comic books and check them out, but I like the tv show so much, I don't want it to spoil the fun. Wife has gotten hold of the full set, and she can't contain herself and she is reading on. I've told her to keep her mouth shut on what's gonna happen! :) She is HORRIBLE with spoilers. She can re-live a movie over and over, and doesn't care whether she knows the story in detail first time she watches it. I, on the other hand, want it to be a completely clean sheet, and I will watch it as intended for a first time viewing. So since I see that the tv-show pretty much follow the story from the comics, I'll simply have to NOT read. Boooo! I really want to. I can, of course, read until the end of what is season two on TV, but then what? :) Hmmmm... maybe that's something to consider.

It's almost like cheating on the food isn't it? Cheating on The Walking Dead...

Wife, Daughter, a good friend and I had a blast watching the show after a good, healthy dinner. Wife made a beef stew with plenty of veggies and it was awesome. I can't wait to dig into the leftovers for lunch today! I know the rest of the office will be circling like sharks to see what it is that smells so good!

I slept something like 5 hours last night. Not really great, not too bad either. I did wake up at 2 AM, and couldn't fall asleep for a LONG time. Wife was sleeping tight, and snoring. I guess that's my punishment for keeping her awake yesterday. It's okay - it comforts me to hear her sleep.

Eventually I did fall asleep again, and slept until the alarm went off.

I dropped another 400 grams of the gained weight today. I am at 80 sharp. I was hoping for a little more to drop, but that's okay. I'll make it in time. Three more kgs to go, and I'm there - and they're all just re-gained fluctuation weight, so I have no real worries about them. I just gotta do good.

Speaking of doing good, I didn't do TOO good yesterday. I went over the RDI I allow myself. I put it like that, as it's not the FatSecret recommended RDI, but one I put on myself. I figure that I want to lay lower than what I burn while I try to drop weight, so I have cut down to 1800, plus the extra on Indulgence Days. Of course, Indulgence Day is canceled the next couple of weeks, so a few hundred extra per day won't kill me. I just don't want to do them - it's a matter to sticking to my rules.

The food choices yesterday were okay though. The extra indulgences were from fruit, a smoothie and ONE hard candy. Not too bad. It's something I can live with, when it comes to "cheating". I still feel that I can eat what I want, but I do want to try to get a little away from empty calories like chocolate. They seem so unnecessary, but they taste oh, so good. And they make me want more, more more, so they really are bad for me.

I have found that I can better handle it when I go buy a small chocolate bar, or nutrition bar, and leave it at that. I buy it and eat it. I see that the size of the bar will be the amount that I'll eat. If I buy two bars to save one for later, then they'll both be gone fast. So I just gotta buy one, and make it a low cal one. I've done this for a while, except for Saturdays, or when I've "lost it" and disregarded my principles, but I need to be a little sharper on this. I can do it.

Today is the day I rock with the kids. I am looking forward to it - it'll be fun. It's time to regroup and get serious about the songs they're gonna play at the concert. My goal today is for them to play them at least reasonably well by the time we go home. It will take quite some hard work for them, but they can do it, I think.

I got caught up on quite a bit of things yesterday at work. Today and tomorrow will be more of the same. I can tell that it does give me some mental head room to do this. It's a good feeling. I see what's coming in the future months, and it's not TOO bad. This really calms me down.

So, today it gonna be yet another long, but awesome day. I'm looking forward to taking it on!

Today, I am thankful for:
- Season final of The Walking Dead! Well, actually, I'm bummed out because I'll have to wait until Oc-freaking-tober for more, but I'm excited that it was so cool!
- Kitty cat snuggling up with me this morning. She's so cute!
- Coffee!
- Catchup day at work!

Take care, by friends! Scare someone for fun today! Life is good!

Good job at work King! My wife and daughter watch the Walking Dead. I have watched some of Season 1. It is not my cup of tea, I dont like violence in that manner. I do enjoy the chick that was on Prison Break though.

Sounds like you had a wonderful night. I didn't know that Walking Dead was based on a comic book until you mentioned it and then remembered my youngest has two of them. I haven't read them but he went through his zombie stage and had to have them. Maybe I'll start buying them for me now since I have to wait a few more months even to see season 2. :o) Have a great day.

Davidsmom - I wasn't aware that it is a zombie "stage". I've been in it for decades. :)
