kingkeld's Journal, 11 March 2012

It's Sunday morning, and it's a new kinda record day.

Today I had the lowest weigh-in for a Sunday morning, post Indulgence Day, 77.6 kgs. I was hoping to stay below 80, and 77.6 is just amazing to me.

I couldn't sleep last night, so this is a very early weigh-in for a Sunday, which means I probably even weigh a little more than if I had weighed in at 9 or 10 AM as I sometimes do. It just makes it even cooler.

Today, we're up early, watching movies. I HIGHLY recommend Machine Gun preacher. It's a great war drama, and definitely worth watching. Check it out, my friends. It's very thought provoking, and makes us realize how much better we have it than people in other parts of the world.

Later this morning, we're probably going to a little flea market, just to support and check it out. I don't know if we're really gonna buy anything. Just look around. Still, it's gonna be a nice walk, and a day out - which I'm looking forward to.

I posted a journal entry earlier this morning, and I posted it in the community too. If you're doing my Indulgence Diet, I would greatly appreciate if you would drop a comment for me. Thanks.

In other news, I got a date for my pre-operation exam. I go on April 2nd, to see the doctor and a surgeon (I think), and they will evaluate how things are. If (when) I am approved, I should get operated within a month. If the wait is longer, they will offer a stay at another hospital, optionally a private hospital. Nice!

I'm gonna do another attempt at getting back to a higher calorie number, working my way towards a more constant maintenance. This week I'll be set at 1800 calories. Let's see how this goes. I will try to use them wisely, and not just on chocolate. :)

This morning, I'm thankful for:
- Sunday mornings
- A light, early breakfast, with room for another one later, should I like to.
- Wife getting up with me to watch movies, when I can't sleep. Do I love her? You bet! :)
- Good movies.

Life is good!

Whoop..... that means you could be "skin free" by the beginning of May. Fantastic news KingKeld - you seem very "subdued" about the appointment - do I detect you are trying not to get too excited until you definately have an op date, or is it realisation and maybe a bit of nerves? Well done on the weight, maybe that little 'blip' you had, has shaken your system up and made you start loosing again :-).... Careful though - you don't want to be 'skin and bone' :-)
