Not the direction I want to be going! Stress, lack of sleep, and poor choices STOP TODAY. Back to Induction for 2 weeks.

I packed my lunch last night when I did the kids and I plan to do at least Mon Wed and Fri every week. Hopefully I can get into a rythm and get it done every night, but for now I just want those three days for sure. Baby steps right?

I let the kid pick what she wanted for lunches this week. First choice: broccoli. Second: big carrots for a big girl. She got mad when I said she had to choose between cauliflower and apples! I think Mom is winning the battle of proper eating habits :D So I packed her some ground beef, cheddar, and spaghetti sauce for an entree, a container of broccoli, tomatoes and celery for snack with a bit of ranch for dipping, and an apple. And just because, a pack of gummy chew things. I'm not sure if I packed enough but heres hoping!

I also got her some cinnamon chex and mixed it with a box of regular. Even though I'm going grain free I figure she'll burn through the carbs just playing and whatnot. As long as it isn't wheat I'm game!

Wow!! How old is this child getting mad over having to choose between GOOD things?? I wish! I guess I need to bring an iron fist around here, but she's only 3, and plays pretty hard, so I don't feel horrible about her choice of pop tarts for breakfast. She is candy-obsessed though, which stresses me out. They both are, but the little one is far less choosy. The Teen likes all things chocolate. I *try* to get them to eat veggies, and with The Teen, I am successful. I need to incorporate more veggies for The Kraken, but she's so damn picky... Anyway... Happy Monday, dear!! Good luck on induction again!

The Kraken - love it! Monkey loves the MIM with a T of cocoa added in. Maybe yours would like that for breakfast? I like it with peanut butter myself. Basically I haven't given Monkey much of a choice lol she eats what I give her or she doesn't eat at all. I figure if we get it down pat that I'm not a resturaunt now it won't be too tough later. The candy fiend that she is, I've decided she has to earn tickets to get sweets and there is still a limit and certain time restraints of when as well.

Good luck with the kiddos! I am so glad mine are out of that stage. My 14 yr old will eat most veggies and loves salad. He is a big junk food junkie though, so I limit how much is in the house.
