Thought I had better check in...it's been 3 weeks! BUSY? Yes and I had to stop thinking about food, dieting and ways of eating and all the information overload. DON'T GET ME WRONG, Knowledge is power...but I started getting ocd again and gaining weight and not following my own path. I need to listen to my body and slow down and eat what I truly want and enjoy it and take care of myself. It has been a struggle, especially taking care of myself. S-l-o-w-l-y but surely, I am doing it. I run the gamut of crashing it off or not caring at all or trying every new eating craze there is. EAT BEANS....NEVER EAT BEANS!!! No dairy, no flour!!!! BUTTER???NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO some people scream and others are eating FAT BOMBS! Try everything and definitely do something! DO WHAT WORKS FOR YOU!!!!!
I truly love this site, most of all, I enjoy some of the people I have gotten to know...and most of all, I think we are all passionate about getting fit and feeling better! Have a great end of the week!
178.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 18.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

There you are! :) Isn't it fabulous out?!?!? Eating has to happen, but nothing elevates my mood like some sunshine and the outdoors! Speaking of which...Off I go! Have a wonderful week.

Absolutely! If the last year has been anything, it's been a series of experiments and observations. Now I know what my body will tolerate and what it most definitely won't. That doesn't mean I'll stop experimenting, or that I know everything there is to know. But I'm miles ahead of where I was this time last year. Nice to hear from you, darlin'!

Yep! Couldn't agree more. Certain ways of eating won't work for some but work beautifully for others! Healthy is the goal! And tolerance, hopefully with humor thrown in!

I've eaten healthy for years, gotten plenty of exercise and my body continues to hold on to 20 extra pds. We are all subject to info overload and fad diets but got turned on to Dr. Gundry's Diet Evolution by my mom... ha! Made a few tweaks to what I was already doing and seeing results! Sometimes it pays to listen to your mom! Good info for health and life. Gundrymd.com or plenty of videos on YouTube if you are interested. Cheers
