Grill wouldn't light, so had bacon and eggs last night.

It was hard to fall asleep (no carb coma) and my tumbly isn't good this morning. My sugar bugs are not happy!

I feel relieved that I have had one good day ☺

Left work to have lunch at home. Bacon and eggs. I see more bacon and eggs in my future. Also, hot dogs. Mm, I love deviled eggs. I should buy some mayo. I also love green salads with mayo. Hm.

Threw a rump roast in the oven at 225. We'll see what it looks like in 5 hours!

Going back in to work at 2pm. Am committed to leading exercises for "the grandmas" twice a day and making sure they walk. Otherwise, I would be napping right now.

In Korea, one addresses elderly persons as grandmother or grandfather as a sign of respect. They also have respectful suffixes built into their language. "Seo" means sir or madame and "humnedah" means please.

At least, that is what I observe. The spelling is phonetic. I have no idea how Korean words are spelled. The word "Korea" is not a Korean word. They say, "Hangool," as I recall.

Am learning quite a few phrases. The harmonies (grandmas) are amused by it. I say, "gumsawhumnedah" and they say it back in English (thank you). I reply, "choomanyeo" (you're welcome) and they correct my pronunciation.

I learned "anyo shoo moo seo" (sleep well) and the harmony replied "an YEE shoo moo seo." I need to find out why.

I'm home sick today an listened to a couple of keto lectures. One was by Stephen Phinney talking about how bad for us commercial mayo is - the wrong fats - and how easy it is to make your own with olive oil. I've done it before, so I'll do it again. I like mayo and I always feel guilty when I eat the bad stuff.

I have made my own with olive oil and it tasted a little off. I use Spectrum Organic Mayonnaise.

I eat too often at the cafeteria at work. They have a decent salad bar, so I can eat salad with egg salad or chicken salad, but the mayonnaise is the standard stuff. It takes a lot of discipline to pass up an almost perfect free lunch!
