Well, not a complete disaster, despite totally falling off the wagon whilst we were away!

We hosted Christmas Day, so I managed pretty well that day, but then spent Boxing Day "getting rid" of all the left overs, and then we drove up to the in-laws where it all went completely wrong...

I meant to take my scales with me, and I think if I had done I'd have stayed more focussed. Hey ho - we got back late last night, and we're ready to get back on track starting today (not tomorrow)!

On the positive side, I normally gain around 1/2 stone over the Christmas period, so I guess my new level of going off the rails isn't anything like as bad as before!

You are an inspiration - 40 lbs is a huge accomplishment! You did your best during the Holidays, it's just impossible to stick totally to a diet. Now you have a great even number to start with for the new year and a great attitude. Don't get discouraged if the loss slows down or stalls occasionally, you are getting closer to your goal. I know you are going to make it.
