feeling bummed. Working out hard every day, sore muscles and eating well but the scale goes the wrong way. I know its water retention or lack of fiber or muscles heaing/building but it still sucks when Im 10 days from surgery and no closer to goal :(
155.1 lb Lost so far: 69.9 lb.    Still to go: 25.1 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Well you know what is causing it (sore muscles), so you know it's not fat. Ease up on the exercise a few days before your surgery and the scale will most likely drop. Look how far you have come and how amazing your doing. You are still losing fat even if you can't see it on the scale right now. Those last few pounds can be hard to get off.

You've done great and are looking great! Don't let this become an obsession to the point where you've traded physical distress for mental distress. Don't let the scale have that much control over your emotional well being. You know that you are eating right, and working out hard (maybe too hard); don't give in to emotional eating when the scale doesn't go in the right direction, when you think it ought to, and you'll be surprised at how well you've really done - maybe when you least expect it. I swear that worry and disappointment controls the direction of the scale meter.
