At an even 139.0 this morning. I'm very close to hitting my 10% of starting weight loss; I need to be at 137.7 for that milestone. I doubt I'll make that this week (my weigh-in is Friday), but I am hoping I will make it by next Friday, March 12th. I'm hopeful that I will hit my goal weight of 132 by the end of this month.
Last night in class my friend Tara gave me two small chocolate chip cookies. Since I've been very good at barely using my flex points this week, I ate them. They were yummy!
Salem had his interview yesterday at the bank he wants to work for. It was 3 people versus him in the interview. He got nervous and forgot to ask for business cards at the end. Luckily, I have a friend who works there and got him to look up all the people's contact info so he could send thank you emails to each of them. I really think that's an important thing to do after meeting with anyone.
There are 4 other candidates for the position so it's a long shot but I have my fingers crossed. I don't like how we both work for the same bank. If there were downsizing, I'd rather we each be at separate places to mitigate the risk that we'd both be laid off at the same time.
One thing that made me very sad yesterday-- that they found that 17 year old girl's body in San Diego. It is so devastating when someone so full of life and promise has her life snatched away by a sexual predator. Sadly it happens way too often in our country. May she rest in peace. :( And may that SOB get the sentence he deserves!!!
THREE THINGS I'M GRATEFUL FOR TODAY:
1) Tonight's my last night of class before my spring break!
2) Made reservations at Buddakhan in Center City for when my friends visit-- that place is phenomenal if anyone hasn't been and is in the area
3) I am down 18 lbs from my highest weight around last Xmas

Hopefully Salem will get that job =) Yeah, the news about the 17 year old was really sad. Poor girl, she had her whole life ahead of her. I hope you have a great weigh in on Friday =) Hopefully you will be down to 137 =)

Yes very sad news about the poor girl and that some people are sick enough to do something like that. Chris I am amazed at you. You are just doing great and I know you will reach your goal soon. I am also keeping my fingers crossed for that job.
