Its a new day and I'm determined not to have it go like yesterday. Thank you buddies for being so supportive! I try not to get too caught in up workplace drama but it was really difficult yesterday to keep my emotions in check and I'm so thankful that I had a place to vent that wouldn't get me fired :) I'm all ready whenever my manager decides to get his shishi together so I'm just going to have to be patient. So I tell myself anyway.

Something else going on today... I'm slightly peeved. I know its a good problem to have but I'm still not sure what to do with it. A few months ago I bought the cutest top and even though it was tight I got it because it was that great. I put it in the closet, waiting. I hung on to it when I did my closet purge figuring it had to be close to decent looking sometime soon. Today I put it on and... its too big. !!! The little bitty hooks keep coming unclasped and its supposed to hug my curves snugly but its got almost too much play to wear. Its on right now because theres no way I'm going to just not wear it after waiting so long but !!!

I suppose I just need to deal with it for a couple more weeks, then do some real shopping. Other items are getting too loose (think underthings) and the whole readjusting and uncomfortableness of them is starting to get to me. The other day I thought *ignore the woman behind the screen fixing her unmentionables* lol I do kind of feel like I'm in Oz the way my body is changing so fast.

At any rate, I'm hoping to see a new low tomorrow. I'm back where I was last friday before the naughty weekend so I'm excited to see the next few weigh ins. I'll be leaving work early tonight so I plan to get the dog and kid and hit the dog park so we can all run and play for an hour or so before supper. Can't wait :)

Aw man! I HATE that!! I have a top in my closet that is a L that I am now back into, but it's still just ever so slightly too small. Maybe I just wanna get rid of more of the back fat, and definitely lose some hip, but it's gonna wait. I purged a few items yesterday from the closet as well. I have way more "too small" items and too casual clothes, so most of it will wait longer. I can totally get the adjusting constantly... bras not fitting anymore! Or at least not SOO tight... lol

Almost anything can be altered. Take it to a seamstress or alterations shop and have it fitted! I did alterations for the public for nearly 5 years while I was a SAHM. It should cost a lot less than buying a new top.

Oh, and I was really pushing the upper limit on my 2Xs, so I'm just looking forward to then fitting well or even loosely for a while. I think I'll need to lose another 30lbs before I MUST do some alterations or drop out of that size. I'm so looking forward to that. God willing it will mean new Spring clothes for 2013!

Dani - thats awesome that you're at least in to it even if it doesn't look like you'd like. Just don't wait too long haha! When I did my closet purge I tossed all but a few workout worthy tees and sweat pants so that I could stop looking at them. Since I'm never going back there it just seemed better not to keep them around.

Oh, Dani, I hate when that happens, but it's a good problem to have, isn't it? I hear ya on the underthings. When I first started this journey, I waited for a few months before going out and buying new underwear. By the time I did, the undies could be pulled up over the "girls". It was so much fun buying the new ones. Have a great day and congrats...you are doing awesome!

What a wonderful problem to have!!! :D If you really do love the shirt, then I agree with DLynne and have it altered. Of course, you may eventually shrink even more after that alteration, so you have to figure out how much altering you want to do. Maybe alter it to the size you want to be in the end. It'll give you encouragement to keep working hard towards your goal. Congratulations on the Weight Loss and the Lose Underthings!! LOL!!

Hooray for you! It reminds me of when people bought my children clothing and I would put it in the closet only to pull it out after they grew too big for them! Rock on!

Stef - LOL! I'm not quite that far down but thats a great mental image!!

Lostwaistline - I like the analogy. I've done that with DD a couple of times and shes hilarious insisting that she can wear whatever it is anyway. I'll just have to make sure I don't do the same thing either direction! There are a few other shirts in there I'm not quite ready for so we shall see.

Oh that is so annoying, I did that with a jacket that I loved....when I finally put it on thinking it would fit....I looked crazy...LOL But did it with my children's as well :( and they were so cute though.....Stef thanks for the laugh, I have a good mental image too.....
