Adpully's Journal, 04 March 2017

My weight went up a little today, not due to my diet just one of those random variabilities sent to us for a test.
The weather looks a bit miserable today so it will be a pottering around the house weekend.
My speaker bits came yesterday so I was able to make progress on my latest efforts. These speakers are very large (5ft high) and rough looking - All being well they will morph into something domestic at some point. My main hobby is faffing around with hi-fi. Being retired i have plenty of time to indulge myself.

It's looking quite tidy - for me.

Wow nearly as tall as me! Do you by any chance live in a detached property?

Is that part of the house or your man-cave at the bottom of the garden? Well done for not stressing the minor fluctuation. It's quite possibly thanks to that cottage pie in the evening - within your overall carb limit for the day but a lot quite recently. I bet it was good though 👍🏻

You and my mate, Brian, would get on well. He has £47K of hi-fi equipment. It is Naim gear (all but the speakers). He spends a fortune every year just getting it serviced. Add to that the fact it is never switched off. It sounds awesome but not £47K awesome!!

This old garage is fully attached to house. Yes I blame the potato in the the pie. A couple of below par carb days and I will catch up. My hi-fi these days is very simple, second hand and DIY at the moment. i have plenty of spare bits to swap about to keep me happy. I do not really want twenty boxes that need continual expensive upgrades. Tell Brian that I have a flea powered 1.5W Amp - He will probably roll his eyes and tut.
