Bed felt so good at 3am! I started cleaning out my closet around 9 and ended up going through all my clothes, folding and hanging everything of mine and the kids that is being kept, revising how the closet was set up to make room for everything including the laundry basket to be out of sight and neat. I now have 2 bags of clothes to donate and an empty dresser, plus went closet shopping and have 2 new pairs of pants! Just gotta get a friend of two to come help me get the dresser out to the garage and I can rearrange the rest of the room.

Once I get that done there will be room for a desk so I can get back to work on my sewing. I make all kinds of crunchy mama supplies and love giving them away to friends. My favorite is the ring sling which I've gotten down pretty good (I'm all self taught) and next I'm going to work on making an all in one pocket diaper. Eventually I'd like to turn it into a business with a full line of products. At least if I can get a decent amount of stock made I can look at going down to Saturday Market and setting up a booth, hopefully this summer.

Had a GREAT day at church. Got there on time (amazing in itself) and the sermon hit a sweet note. I've been praying for my best friends marriage for a few months and it seems like the only thing that can turn them around is a direct intervention by Him. The last little bit pastor threw out couldn't have been tailored to her situation more exactly - even if it doesn't make a change immediately I know that seed will grow something in her heart. All I can do is be there for her but she's definitely got a prayer warrior on her side in me.

Now I'm off to finish clearing the way to get the dresser outta here! We're talking serious overhaul of everything I own and since the kitchens done and the bedrooms almost finished, the next thing on the list is to go through all the random bags/boxes in the shed from the last move. 1 bag a night and hopefully it'll all be organized in a month or so. Then I can go through the old clothes out there and shop some more. :D

Wow, think of the calories you burnt!! Awesome! We live in a very small cottage, so down-sizing and re-organizing is almost a daily thing. Clearing out clutter makes a huge difference in your enviroment and in your heart, mind & soul. AND That will make a difference in your weight loss!!

Forgot to ask...I noticed you said you make some mama products. Do you by chance happen to make something that's called (well at least around here) Hooter Hiders? Basically a reversable sided nursing apron for nursing mothers? It is stiffer in the middle of the top hem so that it slighty bends outwards so mothers can nurse in discretion and also peek down and see baby. My daughter is expecting a baby boy in April and I'd love to find some of these for her. Please let me know if this is something you make. I'd love to buy some.

I completely agree about the refreshing effect of de-cluttering. For months now that wretched closet has been taunting me so now that its all prettied up I feel so much less tangled inside. I have a stack of things that need to get into a scrap book or something that is still weighing on me so hopefully that'll get done in the next couple evenings and I'll feel so much more relaxed knowing its done! Then its just the shed stuff. One bag at a time is what I'll keep telling myself until its done. But for now I'm ok indulging in leaving the closet open and enjoying how neat and tidy it all looks. :)
