Happy Sunday, my Best Buddies!

I figured it was time to log a gain since the last two months have been a cluster between foot surgery and the carb monster living in my head. Back in the green - bummer.

I am pleased with my dedication to the gym in the last month in spite of the foot boot - but really disappointed that I have been struggling so much to get back to my effective way of eating - LCHF.

I feel like I have used foot surgery as an excuse to eat in some way...and although I am lifting heavy in my upper body work, I am not getting the cardio and calorie burn to offset the eating.

Although not okay to allow surgery and limited movement as an excuse to overindulgent, I did the same with my rotatory cuff surgery. That was a huge regret. I exchanged about 10lbs of muscle for 17lbs of fat, not a happy camper. I hope you can get your head back into the plan.

Sending you support. I feel your setback. My pneumonia last summer set me back a lot, too. My momentum has just not been the same -- yet. Still working in the right direction.
