Whoopee! 1st sign of life for a month Down a pound. This is not earth shattering news, but I am convinced it is the "little foxes that spoil the vine." A handful of nuts here, a couple of mints there, here a cookie, there a few chips. It just doesn't take much to throw you off your game; and unless you write everything down "when" you toss it in that chasm between the pearly whites, I'm guessing, like me, you'll have selective memory when you finally get around to recording your intake. A couple hundred calories are easily dismissed, and can make the difference between a 'woe is me' road of frustration, or a positive and enjoyable journey to a healthy heart and a great new you. With all that having been said, HAPPY SATURDAY to all my FS friends!

Must be something in the air- I'm down today too. It's about time!!! I'm really not sure what happens to my unrealized deficits. I'm sure that those "extra" calories account for some of it but there's gotta be more to it than that. Just gotta keep trucking away- here's to another good number next week!

I don't think there's any free lunch or gimmicks. If you're going to dance to the music, you're going to have to pay the fiddler. The weight feels so good going on, but you have to gut it out to lose it. Having the support on here, and knowing the nutritional value of what you put in your mouth, gives us an edge on those that use to do this 20 years ago, but you still have to be committed to sacrifice and see it through.

Hahaha Sk1nny! I will be as jubilant as you with the passing of another 40 lbs. But, you are an inspiration to me. You know, since the brain is 75% water, and 20% protein, I think there are people out there that have sweated a little too much, and worked out a little too hard! Not that I "know" any of them, you understand. But, I have heard of them.

Congrats on the loss. Every pound is exciting! lol dk too funny. I think I know some of those who sweated way too much of the brain fluids away. Yep every lil cookie counts. And at my age if I dont write it down or count it as it happens its easily forgotten. Or denied.
