So I have a confession to make. Some of you know how hard it is to get out and walk when you are a full-time caregiver. The other day I over heard my husband giving his dad a hard time for not walking or doing any exercises. So I turned the table on him and pointed out that he also didn't do any walking or exercising. He came back with walking is boring blah blah blah. I asked him what would make it not boring and his reply was if he could watch tv while he walked. Walla! We're getting a tredmill, it's his idea, and if he doesn't use it I get to guilt trip him. My mother taught me early in life that you can have what ever you want if you can make it be his idea :-)

Whatever works! :-) I walk my dog (which is mostly for him) but it is a good time for me to get away from the computer screen and think about things I'm working on. I definitely get where your husband is coming from because I get bored with it quick if it isn't hiking in the mountains. But I sure do love lifting weights. Might try that option as well as the treadmill/TV combo. Does amazing things for fat loss and overall health. Hey ... you might even find it great for you as well especially since it sounds like it's hard to get out and walk at times. You could always get some weights and use that when the weather is bad, you are bored of the new treadmill (may happen at times), or just to improve strength.
