Happy day after Christmas!
Well, yesterday was very nice. I played at church and they had treats after the service. When I got home we had Christmas. My Daughter and her Husband came over, we exchanged gifts and we had our traditional feast. Later some family friends came over and we had eggnog and deserts. Needless to say, I went way over my RDI. This morning I had an expected weight gain. I also acknowledge I have done a lot of sitting the last few days and that my activity has been slack. I don't consider the gain a reason to panic yet but the holidays aren't over. I know I will have some work to do, come the first of the year. I suspect I may not be by myself...

I agree with you on that one. I think keeping food in the system is good, and you are good with the small gain. I think it pays to experiment with your diet, as it relates to the scale each day. You might find you can handle certain foods better, than others related to the scale. I think it is just paying attention to it.

Sounds like you enjoyed yourself and that's important. Happy New Year, we are all in the same boat! I have been maintaining and that is good, but I need to get back to making progress and losing the last 10 pounds...

I see the guitar in your photo - very cool. My first career was symphony musician - Oboe. I have a master's degree in music. Later in life, I went back to school in psychology and have my own practice now. Both rewarding.
