I hope this isn't going to be my new permanent weight! Scale must be broken- really- if i move it to a different spot, i get a different weight- i saw 182.5, 181.5; but i saw 183 most of the times, so i'm figuring that's it.
183.0 lb Lost so far: 9.0 lb.    Still to go: 71.0 lb.    Diet followed 100%.
steady weight

Maybe you should just stop the plan now since you aren't losing pounds every day.

I wouldn't recommmend such drastic measures (I'm sure slease was joking anyway), but you may want to think about moving onto P2. And I know the exercise you're planning after the holiday week is really going to help. Enjoy the day.... treat your body well and it will do the same in return. :)

You really need more calories right now. It sounds like your metabolism is still in starvation mode.

yeah- i am going to try to calculate how many calories this is in p1- she said 1200 in the book- but i think its less!

Look at my weight history and I believe that you will understand my impatience with your frustration. Your expectation that you should be losing pounds every day is unrealistic. Yes, some are lucky enough to be losing pounds each day but it doesn't go on that way forever. They too will slow at some point. I agree with Dooley that you should try actually adding a few calories back in. Moving to phase 2 like Angie suggests is a good way to get those extra calories. I would also try and add a couple of extra ounces of protein each day and see if that works. Everyone is different and what works great for one person may only produce marginal results for someone else. Tweak your program and relax. I don't mean to tick you off here (call it tough love, if you will) but I fear that you are going to let yourself get so frustrated that you just stop altogether. We can only offer you so much advise here, the rest is up to you.
