Bouncing around this weight for a week or so from my experimenting with resistant starches, eating more, etc. Not concerned. It's just another (lower!) setpoint calibration.
It's a gorgeous, cool, crisp, sunny day, the birds are mobbing the feeder just behind me, and I finally got my body clock reset. A solid 8 hours of sleep does a body good.
I signed up for a free presentation at a newly opened cultural center in my little town. Tomorrow night, there is a demonstration of Gullah cooking by a renowned chef from Daufuskie Island. She's promoting her newly published cookbook. It should be fun, although Gullah food is typically very high in carbs. I'm pretty sure I can adapt some of the recipes to be Keto-friendly, though.

I am bouncing around as well trying to follow doctor's orders to add calories to my WOE. Enjoy your time at the cultural center, wish there was something like that around my area.

@MrsM, yes, I believe there will be a tasting! @Rhontique, I was really surprised that it opened here. My town is TINY (4 stop lights), but it is the county seat. They converted an old filling station/garage to make the center. Did a really nice job, too. They even installed refurbished (non-working) gas pumps from the 40's out front. Maybe I'll take some pix tomorrow, so you can see.

8 hours of sleep! I am so jealous..LOL. Insomnia is my closest friend. Seriously though...glad you are rejuvenated and the presentation sounds interesting!

I haven't had a straight 8 hrs. in I don't know how long. I get pain in either my hip or my shoulder and eventually it wakes me up. I must be doing better though because I usually only feel the need for a nap on the really bad 4 hr. days.

@Sue, when I stay away from wheat and grains, the joint pain stays away. If I experiment with 'cheats', it returns. Lesson learned!
