I am steadily gaining weight, despite my fluid consumption and my exercise regimen. The only thing that I can contribute it to is water weight and muscle swelling, due to weight lifting. I am pushing myself and I continue to be pretty sore.

So far I have lost an inch on my waist line. 7 days ago I was 35.5 inches and today I am 34.5 inches around my waist. My hips were 39.5 and today they are 39.

I am not so sure whether I would be upset if I did not have a decline in my weight as long as I continued to show a decline in my measurement. I also plan to watch my sodium intake a little more carefully.

Wish me luck!
132.8 lb Lost so far: 19.7 lb.    Still to go: 2.8 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

There are so many ways to measure success - the scale is just one. Reduced inches and a dedication to exercise are others! The scale will catch up eventually. Hang in there!

Thanks Amryk... I do have to work on the sodium thing...that makes a big difference.
