Went to bed at 4:30 pm and slept ten hours. Hung out on fs for an hour, then back to bed for more sleep. Twelve hours total.

I feel back to normal.

This is the view leaving the school this afternoon. It was a very good experience. The lunchroom was a zoo, and I loved it. Both granddaughters were happy to see me. The older one reached over the stack of dirty trays to give me a hug. The younger one's friends recognized me and several asked, "Are you Emmelyn's grandma?" Yes, I am, and that is my number one job.

I talked to a couple of parents and they were both displaced workers. One from disability and the other from nepotism. Talking to them, I really came to embrace the fact that my job isn't the end all and be all of everything. I don't even believe in what I'm doing there, except the part about being kind and attentive, and doing my best to relieve suffering.

I need to trust that if this door closes, a better one will open.
222.6 lb Lost so far: 10.4 lb.    Still to go: 87.6 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

Sleep is everything in my world...gotta have enough - and as you know, it does impact weight loss.

Sleep is amazing. And of course, if you're sleeping, you can't be eating. Dreaming about pumpkin lattes and cigarettes (sigh) is not the same as actually consuming them.
