Holy crap! Part of me is saying, "You just started...it's just water weight...this weight loss will slow down." The other part of me is saying, "wow, people should be able to actually SEE the weight coming off of me while it happens."
236.0 lb Lost so far: 6.0 lb.    Still to go: 96.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

It's called the Paleo diet...or the cave man diet... or the "deflaming" diet. It's super-restrictive: no sugar, no grains, no legumes, no dairy, no fried foods, no pre-packaged foods. You can have lean meats, vegetables, fruits, red potatoes (sauted and in moderation), water and green tea. I modified it a little, because I'm looking down both barrels at 40 and thought cutting out dairy was a really bad idea. So I have a couple servings of low-fat milk or low-fat cheese during the day. So, that's the diet ...coupled with my karate workouts.
