Had a good weekend. Sipping some Liuan Leaf Green Tea (Loose Leaf), Weight Loss is coming on well all in all I am feeling great and I attribute this to taking a healthier approach to life.

I must say that since getting my heart rate monitor last week my life has quickly changed. For example when I was mowing the lawn yesterday I found myself doing spot runs re mowing places that weren't perfect. All in all I ended up making my gardening a cardio workout with heart rate getting to 167. Who knew. I guess my yard is going to be pretty tidy from now on.

It seems everything I do is the heart rate monitor way, other examples going upstairs, parking my car far away from where I need to go, I am just more conscious because I can see my pulse.

Although I lost weight yesterday it seems I maybe putting on muscle so this seems to be slowing my weight loss objectives. I may have to revisit my exercises and choose to lift heavy once I get to required weight. I need to do more research and planning.I do not want to have conflicting goals.

288.8 lb Lost so far: 50.9 lb.    Still to go: 97.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I just read elsewhere that measuring ourselves (waist, hips, chest, thighs, upper arms) in cm or inches can be more helpful than always worrying about the scales because the muscle formed from exercise is heavier. That is good advice. Using a pedometer is also good as well as the heart monitor. Seeing steps done and heart rate increase is so encouraging. It heps you "create" exercise for yourself as you have done. Awesome!

You sound similar to me, a meticulous lawn mower haha. I also am more conscious too when looking for a park(parking further away)or taking stairs instead of an elevator. Great stuff, keep it up :)
