Hi Brandi, I certainly can understan your anger. I am really starting to wonder about their business practices. My center is a franchise and not the Pure Weightloss. I am signed up till 11/08 and then stabilization & one year's maintenance. I sure hope this does not happen to my center. I just had a very not so nice conversation with the manager after she called me this afternoon and suggested yet another gimmick to kickstart my weight loss. I let her know that I was going to try this as well, but I was not thrilled about it and something needed to happen. Like changing me to a lower plan. She responded that that would be unethical. When she said the word "unethical" I just about lost it...and she ended up saying I needed to talk to the regional manager. So needless to say it is not going to be pleasant for me to complete this program. And I really had hoped for support. As it is I might as well do the program online because I am hardly receiving any support. Can you get together with some other people from your center and see if you have any recourse? Are there any LAWL centers in your area? Really they should refund you. I hope you don't have to look into legal recourse but it almost sounds like you may have to. 

Hi Brandi, where is your centre? I notice u are weighing in kilos, r u in the states. All our centres in Australia have already shut down, we were told it was because the owner wasn't reinvesting any money in the business, is it the same owner, or same reason?? It is so hard to do it online, but the support i am getting from you guys has been great. Hang in there 

balonzo, Is there another center you can start attending rather than the one you were going to? Will you still be able to receive any lites you purchased (not sure if you use those or not)? I am also doing my weight loss without the use of a center. If I can do it, so can you!! 

I'm in the state, Oregon is were my center is.  

Thank you all. I live in the Dallas, Texas area and the closest center to me now is 40 miles away from the other center so about an hour drive, too far for me. I am going to try this on my own and see how it works. Thank you all for your support and I will continue my success with you all helping me stay motivated. I did not do well this weekend and I am paying for it today, SEE A BAD START. I bought a new scale yesterday at Target and am up a lb from the La scale, so I will just use that one for now and try to weigh myself a few times a week. They are going to send me my lites in the mail from now on and do the counseling part over the phone. We will see and just hope it works.
