Ok, here I am. I am sorry I went missing in action, but I haven't been doing too well lately as far as eating goes. I am finding it very difficult to stick to, but I just saw a picture of a friend of mine who has lost 42 kgs - and she looks amazing. I know I only have 25 kgs to lose so I can do it too! I must lose some weight as I am struggling with simple things like getting up off the floor and climbing stairs. Hope everyone is well. I am figuring out a way to make this as painless for me as possible. I am combining a meal replacement shake for breakfast or lunch and then having a small chicken salad for dinner. LCHF all the way.

Hi, I'm 42 kg overweight atm, so I appreciate how you feel. if you asked a fit person to carry around 25kg of rocks all the time they would refuse as it is a lot of weight. I just use the formula of eat less calories than I use, and it never fails to lose weight, but I've had to give up chocolate and fatty items, such as cream, all of which I love and made me fat in the first place. Good luck, you'll get there! Cheers Terry

Hi Terry! Yes, 25 kgs is a lot of weight, but if I can lose it one kg at a time it will make the task less daunting. Good on you for giving up chocolate - I think my problem is emotional eating. Eating when I am not hungry, but bored, or upset, or even excited... I have stacked on the kgs since 4 years ago. I used to weigh 72 kgs (which was the high end of the healthy weight range for me) and now I am 92 kgs - which sucks. I would love to be 67kgs but I know that it might be really tough - so I would be happy to get back to 72 to start with. One foot infront of the other, slowly but surely. Good luck to you! Hope you achieve your goals :)
