Loss is still strong, but slowing. I can't say I'm surprised as I ate a little tiny bit of stuff I shouldn't nearly every day this week, and I only worked out twice. I don't know what kind of magical kingdom I think I'm living in (apparently one where you hope to lose weight without trying very hard!). I can't really complain as the needle is down. I think I've been stress eating because my in-laws have been over here almost every day of October so far and I'm feeling very crowded and put on the spot a lot. I like them a lot, but I'm not used to having people over so much. It is a cultural challenge I've faced since marrying my wonderful husband, who happens to be from Mexico City. His family is so close they call each other several times a day. I talk to my mom about once every couple weeks so it is a huge adjustment and I feel a ton of pressure. Well, another week is completed and I'm somewhat proud of the results but I really did want to try to be under 200 by 10/31. Doubting I can lose 8 lbs by next Wednesday, but maybe I can lose 4 if I exercise every day. Good luck with your weigh-ins everyone.
208.6 lb Lost so far: 41.4 lb.    Still to go: 53.6 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

You are doing a great job. Look at that downward slope! I hope mine will last that long.

Look me up and say "hi" in the magical kingdom, b/c I seem to be there too, lol. You are still doing good and considering the little exercise and the extra nibbling, I think that is great! At least you are still showing a loss. I do the whole stress eating a lot. Seems like eating will "cure" my problems at the time, only to find out it made matters worse later on. My in-laws live close to us and I talk to my mom about once a week ... so I know exactly where you are coming from. Keep on going though b/c you seem to stay motivated through all the added pressures! Good Luck on losing the 4 or 8 pounds!!!

Just remember what an achievement it is to lose 1.8lbs in a not so good week!! However, I know it can be disappointing when you lose less than you'd hoped, especially when you'd set yourself such a challenging short-term goal. Good luck for this week - I really don't think you're going to get your 200lbs by 31/10, but don't beat yourself up about it! You've done amazingly well and come so far already, and that 200lbs is very close - you'll get there in the next couple of weeks. :)

Thanks guys. I'm not that bummed about my goal. With that goal in place I've pushed it just a bit extra (most of) this month so I think I did better than I would have without it. My goal now is to tighten the window so I'm a close as possible to 10/31. The reality is I've settled into "steady weight loss" and it's harder to accept this go-round because I started so much heavier than I've ever been. But I am extremely happy and proud of results so far.

You have alot to be proud of. I heard only good things about jennycraig - I am so trying to lose weight on south beach, and not really getting very far, but am determined to stick for several months as I tend to give up everything right away.
