The exercise report:
Yesterday I took my dog for a long (30 minute) walk. Today I did 20 minutes of weights and 10 minutes on the elliptical stepper.

My left knee continues to give me some problems. I've been ratcheting down on the elliptical stepper a bit.

On the diet front, I'm trying to get back to the routine. As usual the problems are at night when the lure and availability of a snack are highest.

188.0 lb Lost so far: 17.0 lb.    Still to go: 3.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
losing 3.5 lb a week

sometimes its hard to get back in a routine..try your best..you might try peanut butter on a teaspoon to take care of the cravings at night..seems to work..

night cravings are the worst for me. I used to wait and have my "dessert" in phase 1 until about 10 PM. I end up staying up late these days, so if I don't eat after 6 PM and then I'm up until 12 or 1 (or, in some cases, later) then I get really hungry. So, the best thing I've done is have approved snacks then. Sugar free dessert treat, celery and PB, glass of V8, peanuts, or even a turkey roll up or something. Sometimes I stray from this and have stuff I shouldn't, but then I just try to limit it and make sure I have plenty of water. I also try to have a smaller dinner if I know I'll be up late and predict that I'll want to eat something later in the evening. Best of luck with this, I'm sure you'll be able to do well.

I have the late night munchies all the time. It's when most of my calories come in. I think I'm really going seriously to make 8:00pm the cutoff time. It doesn't sound like much but it should take care of a lot of calories (in my case). Something like that might be worth trying.

Me too!!! After the kids are in bed and I have time for myself, I want to snack. I just make myself have my jell-o or popsicle and chug lots of water. I get about 75% of my water intake from 8-midnight each night.
