TGIF Fat Secret Friends!!! The old saying "You are what you eat" rings true to me lately. I used to eat lots of crap and felt crappy, and now I've been eating healthy foods and feel healthy and GOOD. My weight loss seems to be super slow, but I know I'm doing it the "right" way and more likely to keep it off taking it slow and steady.

Every Friday at my work is "jeans" day. This morning I couldn't find the only pair of jeans I have been fitting into lately, a size 30 waist stretchy pair of Lucky Brand jeans. I've been wearing them every week b/c they were the only ones I could fit into without getting that annoying "muffin top" we ladies dread. But, running late I didn't have time to search and went into my closet and looked at the literally 12 pairs I have, folded nice and neat, that I haven't worn in months b/c they make me feel bad when I can't even fit a leg in. I grabbed the next biggest pair I have and, although it was a struggle to button them, at least I could do so!! I'm wearing them today, and it makes me feel good that even though the scale is showing just a minor loss, my clothes are proving that I'm doing something right! :)

EATING:
B: omelet, skim milk, coffee
L: cottage cheese, cherries
SN: string cheese stick, jello snack, 100 calorie pack of almonds
D: canned tuna, half an avocado, baby tomatoes, green pepper, red pepper, onion

WATER: Got up to 5 glasses of water yesterday!!! Today I'm going for 6

EXERCISE: Kicked Salem's butt in Wii Bowling, then did 30 minutes of various exercises on the Wii Fit.

THREE THINGS I'M GRATEFUL FOR TODAY:
1) It's FRIDAY :)
2) My old jeans fitting!
3) Having friends over for the first time in our new house tomorrow night

Hope everyone has a terrific Friday!

Great Job Chris, I know what you mean about those jeans. That's awesome. Don't worry about how slow it is. If you look at my weight chart all my losses have been slow..sometimes only a pound a month. Take it slow it will happen. Have a great day!

Yay to old jeans fitting! I had a similar experience lately. Still can't button my old size 8 Marc Jacobs jeans but a couple months ago I couldn't even pull them up. Sometimes that physical reminder of the work you've done is even better than seeing the numbers on the scale.

Keep focused and you will be back in all of those jeans in no time.

Thank you all for your positive comments and encouragement. :) I have a favorite pair of Paper Denim and Cloth jeans (size 27) that I am dying to get back into one of these days!!! But first I will strive for my way too expensive impulse splurge purchase gem-encrusted True Religions -- at least those are a 28! Lol.
