Darn it! Up 2 lbs and all because of portion control. Too many nuts and just too much food. It was all "legal" food, no "carbage" but a gain none the less. Maybe a fast is needed this week. I was going to do one last week but didn't follow thru. I am disappointed but this is a new week. "Onederland" just got a little further away.

I get it with the portion distortion....it's tough...!! We have all been so brainwashed into believing that bigger is better (in more ways than one!), to oversize our takeout meals to get a better deal....and even our dinnerware plates are larger and larger to accommodate more food!! So.....I have started a new mantra: " I just don't need that much food to happily survive!" May sound corny, but so far, it keeps popping into my mind when I fix my plate.....or eat a snack.....and it seems to be helping. Also....after dinner, I tend to keep munching if I don't have something for my hands to do.....so I took up doing coloring books while watching the tube!! It's fun and non fattening!!! :) Hang in there....we're all in this together!!! Have a great week!!

Hang in there. You've been doing so well, even with all the upheaval with MIL.

With all the stress you have been under, it's a testament to your good choices that things didn't get more out of control! Don't beat yourself up! I've always known you would get to Onederland before me!

I love nuts. For me they are a trigger food so for now I just stay away from them.
