today is the big day.. i changed my start weight based off of the difference in what i thought I weighted based off my scale fiasco.. SOOOOO according to the scale at my gym Im still in the 200's... Im going to resist the urge to curl up in a ball and give up..im so discouraged right now and honestly I am ready to give up.. I didnt even want to get out of bed this morning bc I was dreading this.. im back in the 200's and i just cant believe it bc there is no way i look or feel that damn heavy...and to think i was in my 300's when i started makes me feel even worse..i just want today to be over.... i hate my scale and I hate myself for not catching it sooner.. UGH.

Darling you have the power not the scale or numbers. You have come an amazing way be proud of yourself and all you have done thus far. The scale an inanimate object you are giving power to. Be strong rock on.

Hey RG74, to 95 pounds I say WOW. I'm only at 22 pounds in and trying to figure out how I can lose the next 13. You should only be very proud. Your accomplishment and that of others in FS reminds me that I can do this too. Now let us move closer to 199. 😊 😊 😊

Yes, the numbers changed, but the amount you have already lost stays the same. 95 lbs is an accomplishment to be proud of. Sorry for this bump in the road for you.

Yes it sucks and it's okay to feel bad about it. We all would. But then you have to look back and acknowledge just how far yo HAVE come and keep moving forward. You have been an inspiration and you will continue to be an inspiration and you will continue to kick butt!

Even though finding out your home scale was off so much, you've still lost a lot of weight. Regardless of what any number on a scale says, that is a huge accomplishment and something to be proud of. You are one of a relative few who achieve that kind of success, and you are still in the process of doing even more. While it's understandable feeling some discouragement, remember that you're the same person you were just a few days earlier before you were aware of the "numbers." How much better you look and feel, the inches you've lost, the difference between now and and before...none of that has changed. You're a winner, you are an overcomer, you are beautiful. This is just a pothole in the road, ain't gonna stop you!

You've lost almost a third of your starting body weight!!! That's sooooo worthy of celebration. I look at the scale as a tool, not a weapon. So the tool you started with wasn't calibrated correctly. Doesn't mean you didn't get the work done. Now you're working with more accurate tools....and a LOT more in your toolbox. Looking back isn't always a great idea IMO, but now might be a good time to glance back at where you were to remind yourself how far you've come and how much better you are at moving yourself forward.

I think it's great you never give up! As you can see in my signature..that's my motto too! "Success is picking yourself up more than you have fallen down" So try another day and go for it!

We all have to start somewhere. I got on the scale this weekend and was shocked, I thought I was doing so good but I was very disappointed. I sat down, reprimanded myself a little bit, got a grip on my problem, and started scouting solutions. I found this app in my Prevention magazine and I couldn't be happier, it was like a note from heaven just when I needed it. This is something I can do and hold myself accountable while getting support from people like you. Please don't despair, we're all in this together and we need YOU!!! Get up and go for a walk, it will make you feel better and allow you to think this through. When you return I'm sure you will be ready to move forward with a renewed motivation.

You, my dear, are a good looking lady, and I wish you the best on getting more serious on your goals. It makes a big difference in the way you feel, and your life. Stick to it and we will support you. I commend you on accepting the challenge.

warren, this didnt happen bc im not serious bc everyone knows Im super serious.. I had a faulty scale that showed me weighting less than what i really weight so ive been recording the wrong weight for a long time and didnt even know it.

You've got this. I can imagine how difficult it is, but you've kicked ass before, and you can do it again. And besides, screw the number. You felt fabulous before the change in scales, and you should still feel that way.

You've come a long way and already look great, I know the scale is upsetting I hate mine so much Marcel threw up on it once for me great little guy. No matter the numbers your still the same serious, movated and movating person. Your really brave to change the numbers instead of just keeping them in your head. Your a beautiful woman just look at your picture.

It's completely understandable that reconciling the scale issue is upsetting, but don't let it erase your accomplishments so far and especially don't let the number change how much better/lighter/healthier you've been feeling.

Addie, tell Marcel he's my hero..
