Stupid question of the day. I love chicken wings. My questions is, when I log chicken wings as part of a meal, are they talking about the whole wing or just half the wing? Day 29 of 30...

You know, John, often I just look at the calories, and try and choose the one I think is closest to correct, even though it might not be exactly what I ate. It does get confusing.

I weigh everything in grams on a digital scale. That might help you evaluate what the existing entry means, so you'd know how to apply it if you had wings outside of your home.

Maybe check oz's? You can weigh them at a meat counter or possibly do some web research to get base info on the raw amounts of chicken. Also might be good to specify large vs small... I have to be careful with chicken legs vs drumsticks since I don't eat the whole leg usually. I really only like drumsticks.

It looks like Drummette(mini Drumstick from a wing)is around 55 calories. That is about half the calories of a whole wing...
